Gabrielle Anwar, a very popular English actress, is well known throughout the world for her brilliant performances on several series and films. She took birth in Middlesex, England in the family of Shirley, an English actress and Tariq Anwar. Her father is a native of India and is an Award Winning British film producer and editor.
Gabrielle Anwar attended Laleham C. of E. Primary and Middle School. She later attended London School to study drama and dance. Making the debut of her acting career was the British miniseries ‘Hideaway’. She made her movie debut with a role on Manifesto. Next to it was her appearances on several British television productions such as First Born, Summer’s Lease, Press Gang and The Mysteries of the Dark Jungle etc. When she was working in London for movies and TV shows, she met American actor Craig Sheffer and that meeting resulted in her move to Hollywood. She next appeared along with Craig on several projects such as Pursuit of Honor, The Grave, Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal, Flying Virus, Save it for Later, Water Under the Bridge, and Long Lost Son.
‘Teen Agent’ was her first American Movie. In Teen Agent, she was seen portraying the daughter of a murdered British Agent. She next appeared on movies namely ‘Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken’, ‘Scent of a Woman’, ‘Body Snatches’, For Love or Money’ and ‘The Three Musketeers’. In 1993, she became one of the 50 most beautiful people of world, elected by People Magazine.
Gabrielle Anwar also played an important role in the TV series John Doe. Recently, she was seen in ‘The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines’.
