As Michael tried to get a fake ID in this episode of the season, he was almost arrested. He then tells Sam that if his friend Lucy would give him a fake ID, he would definitely help her. It turns out that Lucy had a client named Evelyn, who suspected her alienated husband Doug, of kidnapping their son. This leads to Michael becoming emotionally involved in the case. However, when Michael arranges a meeting between Evelyn and Doug, she makes an attempt on her husband’s life. As a result, Michael arranges for Doug and his son to be put into Witness Protection. When he later confronts Evelyn, she prefers killing herself rather than getting arrested. On the other hand, Sam finds out that the man responsible for getting Michael burned plans to meet him in Miami.
