Burn notice seasons are action packed drama created by Matt Nix. Till now, it has been shot in Miami and Florida using Multi-camera set up. The show has been produced by companies Fox Television Studios and Fuse Entertainment in association with Matt Nix, Mikkel Bondesen, Jeff Freilich, Jeffrey Ray, Michael J. Wilson, Jason Tracey, Craig S. O’Neill and Mikkel Bondesen. The show is originally broadcasted on USA Network with 1080i (HDTV) Picture format. Burn Notice season 1 hit TV screens on June 28, 2007.
The key character of the show is Michael Westen, around whom the whole plot is set up. In the starting of the show, he is shown burned down but saved. After recovering he starts finding the person who burned him while working as a secret agent. He is a smart man and makes innovative use of ordinary things to fulfill his duty. He is double belt, quick witted, intelligent but not so good in relationships because of his awful childhood. Show’s other main characters are Fiona Glenanne, Sam Axe and Madeline Westen. Fiona Glenanne is ex girlfriend of Michael who re-enters his life to help him when she founds him burned and half dead. Sam Axe is a former Navy SEAL and semi-retired intelligence operative, who sleeps with rich, older women because he is left with low amount of cash in hand. Westen is his old buddy and he works for him as a double agent. The story becomes more interesting when Western gathers clue about the person who burned him.
Burn notice seasons are very well received by the audience and critics. The show has bagged nominations for USA award for ‘Episodic Drama’ and 2009 Writers Guild of America. It has won 2008 Television Music Awards and ASCAP Film as ‘Top TV Series’. In 2008, at 60th Primetime Emmy Awards, David Raines, Scott Clements and Sherry Klein were nominated for ‘Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Drama Series’. 2008 Edgar Allan Poe Award was honored to the writer of show for writing best plot, in the category ‘Best Television Episode Teleplay’. It proves that large numbers of viewers watch this show. Burn notice season 3 was premiered on 4th June, 2009 and is near to end.
